  Well run store. My only complaint is that they don't have enough check outs open after 5pm during week days. People returning home want to feed their families and not be hanging around in a store line.

  It's a Safeway. Prices are very high, produce is mediocre at best, and the attempt at creating small "upscale" zones in the store feels superficial. They don't carry higher-grade meats, and this store loses an extra star for me, because I was told by the butchers that "there's no such thing" as USDA Prime brisket. Wrong. I could hardly keep from laughing out loud at them. Alternatively, you can waltz over to Costco in Livermore and buy several legit Prime beef cuts any day of the week, and Costco's organic produce is hands-down fresher and more flavorful.
